Join Our Play Group

Social engagement with typically functioning peers is an important part of our treatment approach. Neurodiverse and neurotypical children can both learn and benefit from each other. We invite families with children aged 18 months to 5 years to come play and learn with us. Our organized play groups are daily Mondays through Fridays 9:30am-10:30am and 2:00pm-3:00pm. While participation is free, we ask that families register for specific time slots so we can make sure that groups are well managed. Please use our contact form below to register.

Our process

Referral

We receive a referral for services from your child's doctor or regional center. We also accept self-referrals and will work with your treatment team for required paperwork.

Insurance Authorization

We will confirm insurance coverage or regional center funding. We are a VMRC vendor for ABA services for toddlers aged 18-36 months. We are in the process of credentialing with MediCal and their Managed Care Plans. Other major private insurance credentialing is also pending.

Assessment

After we confirm coverage and gain authorization for services, we will schedule a comprehensive assessment to identify treatment goals, which may include maladaptive behavior reduction and teaching developmentally appropriate skills.

Treatment

After the comprehensive assessment, the treatment team will develop an individualized plan and recommended duration and frequency of services. Your child will be matched with a 1:1 technician who is supervised by a BCBA to deliver evidenced-based ABA treatment.

Our Approach

We utilize a combination of traditional ABA methods, infused with the naturalistic and relationship-based Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). We continue to use naturalistic methods for our older learners as well.

Social Engagement

During each of our session blocks we schedule play groups to invite typically functioning peers to play and learn.

Ongoing Assessment

The BCBA supervisor continually analyzes your child's progress and makes data-informed decisions for program modifications.

Parent Training

We provide ongoing parent training to adapt ABA skills into home and community settings.

Service Locations

We see children aged 18 months to 5 years in our clinics located in Valley Springs, CA and Sonora, CA (Coming soon). We provide home and community services for children over the age of 5 through the age of 21. We are also working on contracting through local school districts to serve clients in the school settings.
